Meg issue no. 1: Never Lose the Wonder

When’s the last time you had a dream come true? With spruced-up pages, a new logo, and a fresh direction, the first issue of the all-new Meg is all about dreams and adventures. Whether in the mountains of Nepal or right in your kitchen, the stories inside will inspire you to look at the world with fresh eyes and spark a desire in you to get out of your comfort zone.

On the cover is Julie Anne San Jose. A total performer and Cream Silk endorser. Find out what a #modernfilipina is, according to the young and talented star. Meg also flew to Seoul, South Korea with beauty brand The Face Shop to shoot their main fashion and beauty stories, complete with snowfall! In Beauty Diary, lifestyle blogger Camie Juan shares the secret to her pared-down Parisian look while globetrotting twins An and En Estrada reveal their travel highs and the only continent they’ve never been to in Best Dressed.

This issue also heralds the passing of the torch from one Editor-in-Chief to the next. “It was over four years ago when our big boss Suki Salvador asked me if I wanted to become a magazine editor and it has been one of the best life decisions I’ve ever made,” says Bianca Gonzalez Intal. “As I move on to the next phase of my life, Meg ushers in the next level of hers.” Executive Editor Ning Hilario, who Bianca describes as a “creative genius” with the “freshest ideas and most effortlessly cool executions,” continues the journey for the magazine soon entering its eighteenth year.

Also in this issue of Meg, find out the 411 on SPF–when it’s summer, SPF is a NEED! Discover makeup looks inspired by the desert, and check out the handmade pieces of Rô Sandals. Meg also shares tips on spicing up your glass of H2O, getting away with 90s fashion, and the importance of relationship labels.
